The Cooper Law Firm

The Coronavirus (Covid-19) is increasingly impacting our daily lives and we share your concern for the health and safety of those here at home and around the world affected by this global health emergency.

We at The Cooper Law Firm want to assure you that we have a business plan in place that allows us to continue to provide you with exceptional legal services while placing safety measures in place for our employees and clients.

As of March 16, 2020, our office is closed to the public.  WE ARE STILL OPERATING DURING OUR NORMAL BUSINESS HOURS however, most of our attorneys are working remotely from home.  We are now able to offer free video conferencing for consultations and client appointments in addition to the phone consultations previously provided.

We continue to take precautions to help provide a safe and healthy environment including:

  • Our teams are continuing to frequently disinfect often-touched surfaces to prevent the spread of germs.
  • Offering video conferencing in addition to telephone conferencing for all clients.
  • Limiting office occupancy to 1 client at a time so we can follow the CDC recommendation of six foot distancing between staff and our clients.
  • Providing curbside estate document signings for our clients who prefer to review their documents in advance and sign in the car rather than inside the office.

We will continue to make court appearances for emergency hearings allowed by order of the Supreme Court of Virginia and local jurisdictions.  We ask that you please follow the CDC guidelines for preventing the spread of this virus. Stay at home, practice social distancing, wash your hands for at least 20 seconds, and use hand sanitizer.
